Working as part of the Learning team, you will be responsible for providing administrative and operational support to the learning and development team.
You will report directly into the Head of Learning and Development.
The role will involve coordinating learning initiatives, managing learning systems, scheduling learning activities, maintaining accurate records, and supporting the successful delivery of the Capital Learning Academy.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate and administer all learning and development activities across the business.
- Manage the Learning Management System (LMS), including course upload, learner enrolment, reporting, and maintaining accurate training records.
- Schedule training sessions, workshops, webinars, ensuring effective planning and attendance.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders, and external training providers to organise learning events and manage any external learning content.
- Monitor mandatory and compliance training completion and ensure reminders are sent when necessary.
- Produce training reports and analyse learning data and feedback to support future business decisions.
- Maintain training documentation, Capital Academy library, policies, procedures, and learning materials.
- Coordinate all training logistics including room bookings, virtual platform set up, and learning resources.
- Manage the coordination and set up of induction and trainee learning programmes.
- Respond promptly to Academy requests and provide first line support for any LMS related activities.
- Ensure all learning records are accurate and compliant with Capitals regulatory requirements.
- Support wider project management activities for learning and organisational development initiatives.
Skills and experience
- Previous experience in Learning & Development, HR, or administration is not necessary; however, we are seeking candidates with a relevant educational background in one of these areas.
- Excellent organisational and administrative skills.
- Strong project management and coordination abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong IT skills including MS365 (Word, Power Point, Excel).
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- High attention to detail and accuracy when managing records and reports.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective working relationships.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
