We work with owners, landlords, tenants, property developers, and housing associations to iron out property disputes. We work flexibly and team members work from home and/or from either of our offices.

You will have a passion for contentious work (primarily contentious property work) and your caseload will be varied. You will handle your own matters (with supervision) and assist the partners on more complex matters. You’ll also be involved in a range of business development activities. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your career and reputation as part of a growing commercial disputes team.

The role will be from Solicitor to Principal Associate level, depending on experience.

Key Requirements

  • Manage a varied caseload of property litigation matters.
  • Experience of advising on commercial landlord and tenant disputes, boundary and access issues, and strategic dispute resolution.
  • Work closely with colleagues to resolve complex cases.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients.
  • Pursue continuous professional development opportunities.

What we’re looking for

  • Property litigation solicitor with 4+ years’ post-qualification experience or equivalent.
  • Commercially aware with enthusiasm for business development.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, clear written presentation, strong organisational skills, good time management, good initiative, and problem-solving ability.
  • The experience, confidence, and initiative to take responsibility for handling your own cases and discreet parts of larger cases with minimal supervision.
  • Technically competent and commercially aware.
  • Team focused with a flexible and collaborative approach to working with others, but also able to work alone.
  • A strong client focused approach with plenty of drive and enthusiasm to help us to provide an excellent client service

In return, we offer

  • Flexible working
You will have the ability to work between home and the office as required.
  • Health and wellbeing
Cycle to work scheme, in-person and virtual yoga, subsidised on-site weekly chiropractor visits, wellbeing events and our \'Time to Move\' scheme, offering colleagues time to simply get away from their desks and much more.
  • Career development opportunities
We are a fast-growing and ambitious firm. We appreciate and value your ambition too. We offer a supportive career development programme, and promotion opportunities twice a year for our lawyers.
  • Excellent rewards and benefits
Competitive pension scheme, annual leave entitlements, comprehensive health plan, life assurance, option to buy/sell annual leave, recognition scheme, Chef onsite – free lunch on Mondays and Tuesdays, shower facilities onsite, regular social events, and lots more.
  • A great location and working environment
Cardiff is a fantastic place to live and work. Our office, in the city centre, is right in the middle of it all, yet only a short drive from some of the best of the Welsh countryside.

We’re committed to maintaining an inclusive work environment. We encourage equality and diversity and treat all job applicants and colleagues fairly — regardless of age, gender, disability, ethnicity, religion or any religious or cultural beliefs, marital status and civil partnership, sexual orientation, pregnancy, and maternity. We have no tolerance for discrimination.

Here, we can be ourselves, succeed on merit, and grow with people from all walks of life.
