We’re looking for an Employment Lawyer to join one of the largest teams of employment and immigration lawyers in Wales. The successful candidate will have a non-contentious focus. In addition to providing day to day advice to a broad range of established clients, they will work closely with a unit of lawyers within the employment and immigration team which provides support to our Corporate & Private Equity team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in employment law to advise on the employment aspects of corporate transactions and restructures, and will also have either experience of or an interest in advising on both TUPE and senior exits.
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum of 5 years post-qualification experience.
- Substantial experience of corporate support, and either experience in or an interest in advising on TUPE and senior exits.
- An understanding of the importance of client relationships and experience of creating or strengthening them.
- Technical competence and commercial awareness.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with clear written presentation.
- Effective organisational skills with good time management, initiative, and problem-solving ability.
- The ability to work collaboratively with others, as part of a large team, but also the confidence to work independently.
- An interest in line management and mentorship of colleagues in the team.
- A willingness to travel regularly to Cardiff and occasionally to London, to visit clients and colleagues.
