The team works closely with Capital Group's senior leadership across businesses and functions to enhance firm-wide client strategy, maximize value of our relationships, and deliver a superior client experience for select set of global financial institutions. Primary responsibilities/essential functionsThe successful applicant will work with the ERM Relationship Manager in London to deepen ongoing connectivity with partner firms' senior relationship management teams, frequently engage with internal stakeholders to advance business priorities and possess a continuous improvement mindset to enhance how the team operates. The role's regular responsibilities will include preparing partner plans on key accounts, drafting briefing notes for senior management engagements, researching client financials and press releases for relevant insights, joining client meetings, and actioning meeting follow-ups. Given the high-profile nature of the team and role, there will also be frequent projects related to client strategy and events. Support the coordination of high-impact strategic leadership engagements designed to discuss mutually important industry and business topics to materially advance the relationship across key verticals. Drive the creation of globally cohesive client strategy for key accounts, which includes: Creating and maintaining relationship org charts to drive executive engagement strategyConducting client research on client's long-term business priorities and objectives through leveraging industry research, listening to investor calls, and connecting with CG's firm analysts to understand how to position CG as partner. Maintaining informal regular dialogue on key initiatives/projects across the firm, building relationships with junior resources across Europe/Asia client group, and when relevant North America. Disseminating notable news alerts and earnings updates on key ERM accounts. Support CG executive engagement strategy across key accounts, including: CFA / MBA is a plus. Minimum of 2 years financial services industry experience. Relationship management experience preferred. Knowledge of financial markets and experience with sales and trading operations and/or time spent working at an asset manager. Demonstrates business acumen and professional maturity in working with all levels of associates. Strong PowerPoint, Word, Excel skills.
