Role outline: Capital Group are seeking an experienced ETF professional to serve as the lead ETF sales specialist for Europe, partnering closely with the Europe & Asia ETF Leader, regional sales teams, product teams, and global ETF leadership. This individual will act as the regional ETF subject matter expert and commercial partner to the broader sales organisation, helping drive the successful launch, positioning, and growth of Capital Group’s ETF business across the region. Combining strong regional market expertise with a collaborative mindset and an entrepreneurial approach, the Sales Specialist will help shape and execute regional ETF go-to-market strategy, support client engagement, and contribute meaningfully to building a scalable long-term ETF franchise.

Primary Responsibilities / essential functions:

  • Serve as the lead ETF sales specialist for Europe, acting as the regional subject matter expert across client-facing teams and management.
  • Partner closely with the Europe & Asia ETF Leader to execute the regional ETF growth strategy and commercial priorities.
  • Work alongside sales teams to identify opportunities, accelerate ETF adoption, and drive asset growth across priority client segments.
  • Partner with product, marketing, capital markets, and global ETF leadership to ensure strong ETF positioning, coordinated execution, and effective go-to-market delivery.
  • Equip client-facing teams with ETF expertise through tailored training, education, and ongoing sales enablement.
  • Support strategic client engagement by helping position ETF capabilities and solutions with key clients and prospects.
  • Provide market intelligence on client demand, competitive developments, distribution trends, and broader ETF ecosystem dynamics.
  • Partner with US ETF specialists to leverage resources and materials across both regions, to drive global scale and consistency.

Ideal Experience:

  • You are a commercially-minded ETF specialist with 7+ years of relevant experience within ETFs, asset management distribution, or ETF sales, product strategy, capital markets, or related commercial roles.
  • You demonstrate deep understanding of the European ETF ecosystem, including market structure, distribution channels, client segments, and competitive dynamics.
  • You bring a passion for ETFs and articulating their evolving role in client portfolios.
  • You have experience partnering closely with sales teams in a commercial, client-facing environment.
  • You demonstrate strong knowledge of ETF market structure, product positioning, and commercial growth drivers.
  • Your excellent communication and influencing skills enable you to translate ETF concepts clearly for a broad range of internal and external stakeholders.
  • You can operate effectively within a matrixed, highly collaborative organisation.
  • You are commercially minded, self-motivated, and are comfortable operating in a dynamic growth environment.
  • A Bachelor degree and CFA or other relevant professional qualifications a plus.
  • Willingness to travel across the region as required.
