We are looking for a detail-oriented Events Associate to join our London team. As an Events Associate you will support the planning, coordination and delivery of high-quality client events and broadcasts. Working closely with regional and central teams, you will help deliver conferences, roundtables, webinars and other events while ensuring a consistently high standard of execution and stakeholder communication. This role is well suited to someone with event management experience who is looking to further develop their expertise across the full event lifecycle. The successful candidate will be comfortable managing multiple projects and taking ownership of key event workstreams.

  • Manage and support event logistics and production planning for in-person events, including conferences, roundtables, multi-day events.
  • Manage and execute webinars using Goldcast, our webinar platform.
  • Build and manage event registrations, invitations, attendee communications, and reporting.
  • Source and secure suitable venues where required, coordinating with external vendors.
  • Coordinate event logistics, including supplier management, attendee registration, speakers, agendas, timelines, and event materials.
  • Prepare event materials and supporting documentation.
  • Maintain the events calendar and support tracking of upcoming event activity.
  • Source and organise event supplies and materials, maintaining inventory where required.
  • Support event delivery on the day, including speaker management and on-site or virtual registration.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams and regional colleagues to ensure smooth execution across different time zones.
  • Support event communications, attendee engagement, and post-event follow-up activities.
  • Manage event budgets and process invoices.
  • Maintain event records, reporting, documentation, and best practice guidelines.
  • Use CRM and event technology platforms to manage attendee data and track engagement.
  • Ensure all events adhere to Capital Group's compliance standards, working closely with Legal and Compliance where appropriate.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, event technology, and event management best practices.

Experience in event management 5+ years. Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively. Proactive, highly organised, and detail-oriented, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability. Strong written and verbal communication skills. High attention to detail with a proactive, solutions focused approach. Able to work independently and as part of a team. Strong technical capability, with experience using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Power Point, Word), event management tools, CRM systems, and webinar platforms.

Core working hours, with flexibility required for out of hours events.
