- Case Management:
- Identify training needs and prepare appropriate materials.
- Facilitate and coordinate training sessions and discussion forums related to AR best practices to advance AR philosophy across CG.
- Data and Analytics:
- Manage AR dashboards, reports and analyse metrics.
- Propose recommendations for enhancements to CG’s approach based on key insights.
- Conduct trend analysis with large sets of information across unique company and team cultures.
- Interpret data, identifying key points and translating information into actionable insights and ideas for practical solutions.
- Projects/Initiatives:
- Participate in functional project work, as needed.
- Manage project scope and scope changes.
- Draft and deploy communication plan.

Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.
Provide high-quality day-to-day performance management and conflict resolution support, advice and counsel on appropriate management of concerns ensuring the effective management of ER-related risks (legal, financial and reputational) for associate relations issues.
Assess concerns and perform troubleshooting and independent research to resolve complex matters. Troubleshoot associate issues or concerns, including comprehensive investigations as needed, identify the root cause of the problem and leverage tools and resources to determine how to resolve problems.
Consult with Capital’s business leaders, ER, and Legal department to effectively address intricate associate relations matters.
Collaborate with HR Business Partners in the management of the annual common review cycle, leveraging HR tools and resources (e.g., Capital Career Resources, WorkDay, HRAcuity, etc.).
Build credibility and trust among associates by resolving concerns through compassion, a systematic approach, clear documentation and follow-through. Proactively learn the business of the relevant business area to create positive change and mitigate/resolve issues.
Lead internal investigations related to allegations of violations of policy, Title VII, or other unlawful conduct, ensuring consistent quality of results, strong documentation, timeliness of resolutions and an effective, supportive associate experience.
Review and monitor cases to identify trends, potential risk areas and development opportunities.
Maintain all cases data in CG’s case management.
Foster an inclusive culture and relationships by balancing associate advocacy with stewardship of company values and attention to business needs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- At least five years of progressive experience directly related to ER, including providing consultation for coaching, employee relations, training and HR project management or program implementation.
- Demonstrated experience conducting workplace investigations with strong documentation.
- Knowledge of federal and state employment and labour laws.
- Experience coaching and consulting at various levels in the organisation with the ability to provide feedback in a thoughtful, constructive and solutions-oriented manner.
- Ability to lead fact-finding and exploratory conversations and probe in order to uncover critical information and details in order to reach sound conclusions.
- Ability to effectively manage information and leverage data/metrics to identify trends and solutions.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong critical thinking and analysis.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise workload in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to exercise independent judgement and discretion, as well as maintain confidentiality.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
- Able to understand and discuss clients, operations, capabilities, strategy, and goals.
- Proactively identifies potential areas of conflict or difficulties for clients.
- Strong understanding of CG products and business processes, and how they apply to the client group.
- Makes recommendations to improve our strategic objectives based on experiences and business acumen/knowledge.
