As a Trade Operations Analyst, you'll support the investment process for Capital Group. You have a genuine interest in derivatives and a strong focus on client centricity. You'll play a critical role in the post-trade process by supporting the derivative product lifecycle. You'll work closely with key stakeholders, including our Investment Group, Legal and Compliance teams, vendors, brokers, custodians, and client relationship teams. As you build expertise in our products, processes, and systems, you'll take ownership of operational challenges, help solve complex problems, and contribute to delivering an exceptional client experience.
You have experience supporting the post-trade processing and lifecycle management of OTC and cleared derivatives, including interest rate swaps, CDS, FX forwards, FX options, futures, and options.
You have a strong understanding of the end-to-end derivative trade lifecycle, from execution through confirmation and settlement, with exposure to collateralisation, valuation events, and maturity processing.
You have knowledge of derivative market infrastructure, including clearing houses (CCPs), clearing brokers, trade repositories, custodians, and counterparties.
You can investigate and resolve trade economics and reconciliation breaks, complete confirmation, settlement, and lifecycle event activities, and effectively manage operational risk and downstream impacts.
You have experience supporting derivative lifecycle events, including resets, rate fixings, novation's, amendments, credit events, coupon payments, terminations, expiries, and exercises.
You have a strong understanding of front-to-back investment operations and the interaction between trading, collateral, settlements, accounting, and risk functions.
You have experience working with industry platforms such as Aladdin, Tradeweb, MarkitWire, Traiana, TDN, Bloomberg, and ICE Link.
You leverage technology, automation, and data analytics to improve controls, efficiency, scalability, and operational outcomes.
You are a self-driven learner with a genuine curiosity about financial markets, derivative products, systems, and industry developments.
You thrive in a dynamic environment, creating clarity from ambiguity and adapting to evolving business priorities.
