Capital Fortune Rockhopper is an award winning protection and mortgage brokerage in the City of London. We are seeking a Trainee Commercial Mortgage Broker to join our team.

• Salary: £26,000 basic plus 12% commission (Standard Model); £12,000 basic plus 30% commission (Premier Model)
• Hours: Full time
• Location: 22 Tudor Street, London EC4Y. Office based while you train, hybrid once competent.
• Leads: Warm, supplied, and found for you
• Also: 29 days including birthday and bank holidays. Pension. Professional and network fees paid.

No commercial finance experience required.

We will teach you the lenders, the products and the packaging.

What we cannot teach is a head for numbers and the nerve to ask a business owner a direct question about their accounts.

What we need.

• A track record in sales or a numerate commercial role. Any sector. We will want to see the numbers.
• Comfort with figures. You will be reading accounts, rent rolls and development appraisals.
• The discipline to follow a documented process, and the sense to see why it exists.
• The ability to hear what a client has not said out loud.

Standard

Model: £26,000 basic, contractual plus 12% of everything you write.

Premier

Model: £12,000 basic, contractual plus 30% of everything you write.

Both from the first case, with no tiers, no thresholds and no cap.

We will not ask you to take an OTE figure on trust.
