Capital Fortune Rockhopper is an award-winning protection and mortgage brokerage in the City of London. We are seeking a trainee protection broker to join our team.
Salary: £26,000 basic plus 12% commission (Standard Model) or £12,000 basic plus 30% commission (Premier Model)
Hours: 12 to 40 hours a week
Location: 22 Tudor Street, London EC4Y. Office based while you train, hybrid considered once competent.
Leads: Warm, supplied, and found for you.
Benefits: 29 days including birthday and bank holidays, pension, professional and network fees paid.
Requirements:
- Sales experience essential.
- Protection experience not required; we will teach you the products, underwriting, and regulation.
- You must be able to build trust with clients quickly.
- Experience in recruitment, estate agency, telesales, or retail is beneficial.
You will study for your qualifications with the fees paid and take your first cases under supervision. You will not advise a client until you are assessed as competent. No cold calling or pipeline to build; every enquiry comes to you warm.
Client Base: Mortgage clients needing cover behind borrowing and wills and estate planning clients who have already asked about protection.
Technology: Our AI technology handles non-advisory work, with calls recorded, transcribed, and searchable. Client reports are drafted by AI and compliance-checked before reaching you.
What We Need:
- A track record in sales from any sector.
- The discipline to follow a documented process.
- The ability to understand unspoken client needs.
Compensation:
- Standard Model: £26,000 basic plus 12% commission.
- Premier Model: £12,000 basic plus 30% commission.
No tiers, no thresholds, no cap. We will discuss both models before you choose.
