No cold calling. No pipeline to build. Every enquiry comes to you warm, from inside our own business. The Later Life Finance website brings people who have decided to find out what their home could do for them. Wills and estate planning clients bring a second stream, and our mortgage advisers hand over borrowers who now need this market. These conversations take as long as they take. Clients are deciding something that touches their home, their retirement and what they leave behind, often with adult children in the room. Some should not proceed, and saying so is part of the job. Nobody is measured on how quickly a case closes.

Our AI technology does the work that is not advice. Calls recorded, transcribed, searchable. Client reports drafted by AI from the transcript, compliance-checked before they reach you. Every regulated decision is still signed off by a person, with the heavy lifting done by our AI systems. Thirteen years is how long our average member of staff has been here. We are small by choice and a top-tier writer within our national network. Administration runs every case through to completion.

What we need:

  • Recent experience advising on lifetime mortgages, retirement interest only and drawdown. Not a trainee position.
  • CeMAP or equivalent, a recognised equity release qualification such as CeRER or ER1, and Competent Adviser Status.
  • Working knowledge of Equity Release Council standards and this market's lenders.
  • The judgement to tell a client that borrowing against their home is the wrong answer.
  • The discipline to work remotely without anyone standing over you.

The money, plainly:

  • Standard Model: £40,000 basic, contractual plus 12% of everything you write.
  • Premier Model: £12,000 basic, contractual plus 40% of everything you write.

Both from the first case, with no tiers, no thresholds and no cap. We will not ask you to take an OTE figure on trust. Reach second interview and our advisers will tell you what they earn.

How we decide:

  • Your CV and completion of our online psychometric test.
  • A confidential conversation, then an interview with the people you would work alongside.
  • The testing comes first so every applicant is read on the same evidence, and nobody is turned down on a score alone.

We are an equal opportunities employer and recruit on capability. If you need an adjustment at any stage, tell us before you start — asking will not count against you.
