The Opportunity
This is an experienced hire within our growing Clean Energy investment business. You will sit at the intersection of product development, investor relations, and fundraising support – shaping how we bring differentiated clean energy strategies to market and how we engage the global LP community. You'll lead a small team of product specialists and work in close partnership with our Investment and Business Development teams.
Clean Energy
Capital Dynamics' Clean Energy team makes direct equity investments in carbon-reducing renewable energy – from late-stage development through to commercial operations. We are one of the UK's largest onshore wind operators and a pioneer in subsidy-free solar PV in Europe. The business is growing rapidly, and this role is central to its continued expansion.
Key Responsibilities
- To lead the clean energy investment products development and structuring – including structuring managed accounts, bespoke vehicles, and sustainable impact fund solutions.
- Drive fundraising strategy – support the design and execute compelling marketing campaigns for new product launches, aligned to fundraising goals working alongside the Clean Energy Investment team and Business Development – Sales colleagues.
- Own investor materials – take full responsibility for fund offering documents, DDQs and RfP's.
- Manage client communications – produce investment summaries, portfolio updates, and regular reports in collaboration with the investment management team.
- Maintain client‑facing platforms – coordinate updates to the due diligence data site, track record materials, and company website.
- Embed ESG leadership – integrate environmental, social, and governance considerations across all clean energy products and lead production of the annual Clean Energy Sustainability Report.
What We Are Looking For
Essential Experience and Attributes
- Minimum of 8 to 10 years in an investments product development / product management / Product Specialist or Investor Relations lead role with a focus on clean energy / renewables or Infrastructure investments.
- Demonstrable project management experience, including the ability to manage up with senior colleagues.
- Deep knowledge of clean energy / renewables or infrastructure – both equity and debt investment markets is essential.
- Strong financial acumen: proficiency with IRR, NPV, dividend yield, and related metrics.
- Exceptional writing skills – able to distil complex investment narratives into high‑impact materials.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, performance‑driven environment.
- A solutions‑oriented, proactive mindset with strong interpersonal and client relationship skills.
- Minimum 2:1 degree in Business, Finance, Responsible Investment, Renewable Energy, or related field.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Languages Skills
- Fluent in English with superior written communication skills.
- Additional languages welcome: German, Italian, Spanish, French, Japanese, or Korean.
