We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated SEO Specialist to join our Growth team. This newly created role will focus on enhancing our search engine visibility and driving organic traffic. You will play a crucial role in improving brand visibility on Google and optimising user flow outside of the Capital.com website. This position offers the opportunity to collaborate with various departments to implement effective SEO strategies and drive our online presence.

  • is able to launch simple websites,
  • has experience experimenting with ChatGPT,
  • has experience launching PR campaigns,
  • has experience working with backlinks.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement SEO strategies to improve brand visibility on Google.
  • Enhance user flow outside of the Capital.com website, including future snippets, Google My Business (GMB), and external ratings.
  • Perform technical SEO audits and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate with the Content and Marketing teams to ensure SEO best practices are implemented across all content.
  • Monitor and analyse website performance using tools like Screaming Frog Log Analyzer, Ahrefs, and Google Analytics.
  • Manage and optimize VPS for improved website performance.
  • Utilise A-parser and Regex for data organisation and analysis.
  • Support ongoing SEO tasks with technical skills in JS, HTML, CSS, and WordPress (WP).
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO trends and algorithm changes.

Requirements:

  • Experience in SEO or a related field.
  • Experience with website development, including domain purchase, site deployment, and ongoing performance improvements is a must have.
  • Strong analytical mindset with excellent data organisation skills.
  • Proficiency with SEO tools such as Screaming Frog Log Analyzer, Ahrefs, and A-parser.
  • Technical skills in JS, HTML, CSS, and WordPress (WP).
  • Experience in VPS management and regex.
  • Familiarity with Python is a plus.
  • Business level proficiency in English or above (equivalent to B2 or above in CEFR).
