The Receptionist is responsible for delivering a professional, welcoming and efficient front‑of‑house experience while supporting day‑to‑day workplace operations. This role works closely with the Workplace Experience Coordinator and collaborates with reception teams across other locations to ensure consistent service standards and operational support.

Location: 4 Orchard Place, SW1H 0BF, London

Working hours: 10am - 7pm, Mon‑Fri

Responsibilities:

  • Front of House & Visitor Experience: Be the first point of contact for all visitors, creating a friendly and welcoming first impression. Greet visitors on arrival, register them with building management, arrange access cards where needed and guide them to the right meeting rooms or teams. Keep the reception area clean, organised and presentable throughout the day so it always feels welcoming.
  • Workplace & Office Support: Work closely with the Workplace Experience Coordinator to keep a consistent and welcoming front‑of‑house presence. Make sure office and kitchen supplies are stocked and organised, doing regular checks and reordering before anything runs out. Arrange couriers when needed and help manage incoming and outgoing deliveries. Sort and distribute post and packages, including picking up larger deliveries from the loading bay where required.
  • Administrative & Finance Support: Support the Finance team by uploading, tracking and reconciling company card transactions. Keep files and records for reception and office documentation organised and up to date. Help with general admin tasks as and when needed.
  • Travel and Hotel Bookings: Work with reception teams across other offices to support business travel, including helping with flight and hotel bookings.
  • Flexibility & General Duties: Be flexible and help out with additional tasks as needed to support the business. Step in to support other teams or take on related duties when required.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a customer focused role
  • Confidence working with employees at all levels
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Proficient with Google Workspace
  • Experience booking travel
