Our goal is to provide seamless access to digital assets in a secure, compliant, and user-friendly way. Role Summary:
We're looking for a Product Director to own the end-to-end strategy and execution of Capital.com digital assets products. You’ll lead a multi-disciplinary team across engineering, design, compliance, and operations — delivering mission-critical infrastructure products that are fast, secure, and intuitive. You’ll be responsible for building and scaling:
Custodial Wallets Crypto Payments (on/off-ramps) Fiat and crypto settlement rails Spot trading flows (RFQ, liquidity routing) Staking, balances, and reward tracking APIs and internal tools to enable all of the above This is a high-impact role, requiring strong product leadership, deep domain knowledge, and the ability to navigate execution complexity across multiple jurisdictions and user flows. What You’ll Do
- Define the long-term roadmap for Capital.com products across crypto custody, wallet infrastructure, funding, and settlement
- Balance the needs of global users, internal ops, risk, compliance, and local regulatory requirements
- Prioritize features based on commercial value, risk, technical feasibility, and strategic alignment
Build and Scale
- Deliver stable, scalable systems for core crypto workflows — deposits, withdrawals, conversions, staking, and custody
- Oversee development of robust APIs powering our white-label infrastructure behind Capital.com’s front end
- Launch tools and dashboards for operations, compliance, and finance teams to manage flows and monitor activity
Lead Cross-Functional Execution
- Collaborate daily with Engineering, Compliance, Customer Support, Back Office, and Risk to deliver working software
- Translate requirements into clear specs and collaborate on sprint planning and releases
- Work closely with vendors like custody, liquidity providers, and analytics tools to integrate securely and effectively
Think Like a User, Act Like a Builder
- Map full user journeys for crypto flows and optimize for speed, clarity, and resilience
- Own metrics like conversion, latency, drop-off, failed flows, and end-user satisfaction
- Work with our support team and UX to iterate on what’s not working — fast
Minimum Requirements
- 8+ years in product management, including senior leadership roles
- Experience delivering complex infrastructure products (crypto, fintech, payments, or API platforms)
- A solid technical grasp of crypto custody, liquidity, key management, blockchain analytics, on/off ramps etc
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional squads across multiple time zones
- Strong understanding of product development cycles, agile planning, and stakeholder communication
Bonus Points For
- Prior experience integrating or managing third-party tools like Fireblocks, Chainalysis, or KYB/KYC providers
- Regulatory product delivery experience in the UK or EU
- B2B2C / white-label product experience
- Excellent documentation skills — you can write a spec or a comms plan that actually gets read
