Are you ready to make an impact at one of London's leading Further Education providers? Capital City College is looking for a skilled Student Mentor Manager to support and drive key operational functions, helping shape the future of education in the heart of London.
About the Role
This role is offered on a full-time, fixed term basis. Your contract will end 31st August 2028.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, coordination and delivery of the college's peer mentoring model, including recruitment, selection, training, deployment and support of student mentors.
- Develop targeted mentoring interventions that support transition, early engagement, attendance, retention and achievement, with a particular focus on Maths and English.
- Ensure mentoring provision is embedded within curriculum delivery and aligned with tutorial, safeguarding and student services processes.

Working together, you'll help create a positive and inclusive environment where everyone feels valued. You will be joining the Learner Experience Directorate and the dynamic Employability, Enterprise and Careers Team of 20 colleagues who are committed to excellence. The team has a strong collaborative culture, sharing best practice and innovative approaches.

- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks with accuracy and efficiency.
- Clear and professional communication skills.
- Confidence working with systems and processes.
- A proactive attitude and a willingness to learn and adapt.
- Experience of coordinating or managing mentoring, learner support or employer, employability, and enrichment provision.
- Most importantly, you will be ready to make a positive contribution to our college community.
