About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Estimator & Procurement Coordinator to join our growing cleaning company based in Epping. This role involves preparing accurate cleaning service quotes and supporting the procurement of cleaning supplies and equipment. The position is primarily office-based, with occasional off-site visits as required.
Key Responsibilities
- Estimating & Quoting
- Prepare accurate cost estimates for commercial and/or residential cleaning contracts
- Review client requirements, site specifications, and scope of works
- Conduct site inspections when required
- Calculate labour, materials, equipment, and overhead costs
- Prepare and issue professional quotations to clients
- Follow up on submitted quotes
- Procurement
- Source and purchase cleaning products, materials, and equipment
- Build and maintain relationships with suppliers
- Compare supplier pricing to ensure cost efficiency
- Monitor stock levels and reorder supplies as needed
- Track procurement budgets and expenses
- Administrative Duties
- Maintain accurate records of quotes, costs, and supplier information
- Support management with reporting and cost analysis
- Coordinate with operations team to ensure service readiness
Skills & Experience Required
- Previous experience in estimating (cleaning industry experience preferred)
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Good knowledge of cleaning materials and equipment (advantageous)
- Strong negotiation and supplier management skills
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel essential)
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently
Additional Requirements
- Full UK driving licence preferred (for occasional site visits)
- Ability to attend off-site inspections when required
