Capital City College is looking for a skilled Internal Quality Assurance lead to support and drive key operational functions, helping shape the future of education in the heart of London.
About the Role: This role is offered on a part-time, hourly paid basis. The Internal Quality Assurer (IQA) ensures that all training delivery, assessment practices, and learner outcomes in the early years education department adhere to the standards set by awarding body (NCFE), regulatory bodies, and internal college policies. The IQA plays a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing the quality of qualifications offered within the department by providing oversight, feedback, and guidance to assessors. A key focus of this role is to ensure the accuracy of learner assessments and that course delivery aligns with current industry and regulatory standards.
- Ensure that training delivery meets the criteria set by awarding bodies and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee and verify assessment outcomes to ensure they meet quality benchmarks.
- Provide support and constructive feedback to assessors to enhance their assessment practices.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
About You: We're looking for a reliable and motivated individual who takes pride in delivering excellent service. You should bring:
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks with accuracy and efficiency.
- Confidence working with systems and processes, including experience in NCFE IQA.
- Creating and implementing internal quality assurance plans according to assessment schedules.
- Conduct regular sampling of assessments and monitor the consistency and fairness of assessment decisions according to NCFE requirements.
