Capital City College is looking for a skilled Examinations Officer to support and drive key operational functions, helping shape the future of education in the heart of London.
This role is offered on a full time, permanent basis. In this role you will be responsible for a considerable range of examinations with a subsequent complex timetable. The role involves ensuring the smooth running and administration of all examinations, registering learners with Awarding Organisations, maintaining exam data, organising examination sessions, and ensuring that all aspects of the day-to-day organisation of the examination boards requirements are fully complied with to enable the centres to maintain their examination status. Whilst running the exams you will play a frontline role, which will include consulting with teachers and students. The post also involves recording achievement and processing certificates.
You will join a friendly, professional team committed to delivering high-quality support across the college. Working together, you’ll help create a positive and inclusive environment where everyone feels valued. You will be joining a dynamic and supportive exam team consisting of 21 colleagues who are committed to excellence. The team has a strong collaborative culture, sharing best practice and innovative approaches.
We’re looking for a reliable and motivated individual who takes pride in delivering excellent service. You should bring:
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks with accuracy and efficiency
- Clear and professional communication skills
- Confidence working with systems and processes, including experience in managing large data sets and complex processes
- Desirable experience with Tribal EBS management information software
- A proactive attitude and a willingness to learn and adapt
- Experience in a similar FE exam officer role is desirable
