About the Role

Curriculum Manager Healthcare – Lead the development and delivery of high-quality, industry‑relevant programmes that shape students’ futures across our Health curriculum and services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, plan, and deliver learner‑focused curriculum programmes aligned with Pearson, BTEC, NCFE, and T‑Level standards.
  • Lead line‑management of up to ten teaching and support staff, driving performance, accountability, and professional development.
  • Collaborate with departmental staff to implement innovative, inclusive practices that support both learners and colleagues.
  • Manage budgets and resources to ensure cost‑effective, high‑impact delivery.
  • Prepare for and contribute to internal and external audits, inspections (e.g., Ofsted), and quality reviews.
  • Use data effectively to improve learner attendance, retention, and progression.
  • Support the strategic direction of the college through effective leadership, innovation, and operational oversight.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Proven success in leading teams or departments within an educational or comparable setting.
  • Deep understanding of curriculum design, quality assurance, and student achievement.
  • Strong strategic thinking, communication, and people‑management skills.
  • Experience delivering and managing T‑Level provision.
  • Solid knowledge of compliance, funding regulations, and quality assurance processes.
  • Relevant teaching qualification and leadership training (or willingness to obtain these).
  • Experience in the healthcare sector is advantageous.
