As an Hourly Paid Lecturer, you will:
- Deliver engaging, inclusive teaching sessions that support learners to achieve their goals.
- Share your knowledge and real-world insights to help learners develop their skills and understanding.
- Adapt your teaching to meet diverse learner needs.
You will be responsible for teaching on the counselling courses from Level 2 to 6 and for planning and delivering all units linked to counselling courses that you are teaching on in accordance with the awarding body requirements. As the counselling specialist, you will use the available resources to support students' work and skills development.
You will have appropriate experience and qualifications reflecting a strong background in counselling. You will have a teaching qualification or the commitment to undertake one during the first term of contract. You will have a history of teaching within a vocational (or similar) context to a high standard, with personal/group tutoring experience and of teaching a variety of counselling courses from level 2 to 6. You must have the ability to communicate with students and to motivate and support them in their studies.
