About The Role

Capital City College is seeking an enthusiastic and skilled carpentry apprentice assessor to join our dynamic London-based team as an hourly paid support.

As An Hourly‑paid Support, You Will

  • Deliver engaging, inclusive teaching sessions that support learners to achieve their goals.
  • Share your knowledge and real‑world insights to help learners develop their skills and understanding.
  • Adapt your teaching to meet diverse learner needs.

About The Team

You will be joining a dynamic and supportive team of colleagues committed to excellence in teaching and learning. The team has a strong collaborative culture, sharing best practice and innovative approaches to help every student thrive.

About You

  • Proven experience in carpentry.
  • Hold an A1 assessor’s award (level 3) and a TAQWA level 4 IQA qualification to carry out IQA duties across sites and ideally have experience in setting up the End Point assessments for the carpentry apprentices.
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and classroom management skills.
  • A commitment to inclusive, learner‑focused teaching.
  • A recognised teaching qualification (or a willingness to achieve one).
  • Confidence in delivering to a diverse range of learners and readiness to inspire them to achieve their full potential.
