Capital City College is looking for a skilled Inclusion Coach to support and drive key operational functions, helping shape the future of education in the heart of London.

About the Role

  • This role is offered on a full-time, permanent basis.
  • To provide targeted support and intervention for learners who face barriers to participation, engagement, attendance, achievement and progression.
  • To work in partnership with curriculum teams, learner services, parents/carers and external agencies to ensure learners receive timely and effective support.
  • Working closely with curriculum teams, safeguarding, learner services and external partners, the postholder will help create an inclusive learning environment where all learners can thrive and achieve their full potential.

About You

  • We’re looking for a reliable and motivated individual who takes pride in delivering excellent service.
  • Support learners who are identified as being at risk of disengagement, poor attendance, low achievement, withdrawal or other barriers to success.
  • Build positive and professional relationships with learners, acting as a consistent point of support and guidance.
  • Monitor learner participation, attendance, punctuality, behaviour and progress, taking timely action where concerns arise.
  • Deliver one-to-one and small group interventions to improve engagement, resilience, confidence, study skills and learner outcomes.
  • Work collaboratively with curriculum staff to identify learners requiring intervention and agree appropriate support plans.
  • Develop and maintain accurate records of interventions, support strategies, outcomes and learner engagement.
  • Liaise with parents, carers and employers where appropriate to support learner participation and success.
  • A genuine passion for supporting young people, removing barriers and creating opportunities for every student to succeed.
  • Most importantly, you’ll be ready to make a positive contribution to our college community.
