About the Role

Lecturer in English Literature – part‑time (0.8 FTE), permanent.

Responsibilities include teaching A level English Literature, supporting learners to achieve their full potential and contributing to curriculum development.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high‑quality teaching, learning and assessment in line with OCR requirements;
  • Provide pastoral and academic support;
  • Collaborate with colleagues to improve teaching practice.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in English Literature
  • Strong knowledge of A‑level English Literature
  • Excellent communication, organisation and classroom management skills
  • A commitment to inclusive, learner‑focused teaching
  • Recognised teaching qualification (or willingness to achieve one)
