Capital City College is seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Counselling Lecturer to join our dynamic London-based team. We are looking for passionate, knowledgeable individuals to join as an hourly paid Lecturer in Counselling. About the Team
You will be joining a dynamic and supportive team of 7 colleagues who are committed to excellence in teaching and learning. The team has a strong collaborative culture, sharing best practice and innovative approaches to help every student thrive.
About You
You will be responsible for teaching on the counselling courses from Level 2 to 6 and for planning and delivering all units linked to counselling courses that you are teaching on, in accordance with the awarding body requirements. As the counselling specialist, you will use the available resources to support students' work and skills development.
You will have appropriate experience and qualifications reflecting a strong background in counselling, a teaching qualification or the commitment to undertake one during the first term of contract. You will have a history of teaching within a vocational (or similar) context to a high standard, with personal/group tutoring experience and of teaching a variety of counselling courses from level 2 to 6. You must have the ability to communicate with students and to motivate and support them in their studies.
