Capital City College is seeking an enthusiastic and skilled carpentry apprentice assessor to join our dynamic London-based team in the Tottenham Centre. As an hourly‑paid support, you will deliver engaging, inclusive teaching sessions that support learners to achieve their goals, share your knowledge and real‑world insights, and adapt your teaching to meet diverse learner needs.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging, inclusive teaching sessions that support learners to achieve their goals
  • Share your knowledge and real‑world insights to help learners develop their skills and understanding
  • Adapt your teaching to meet diverse learner needs

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in carpentry
  • Hold an A1 assessor’s award (level 3) and a TAQWA level 4 IQA qualification to carry out IQA duties across sites
  • Ideally have experience in setting up the End Point assessments for the carpentry apprentices
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and classroom management skills
  • Commitment to inclusive, learner‑focused teaching
  • Recognised teaching qualification (or willingness to achieve one)
