Anville Court is a 47-bed care home situated in the quiet area of Wolverhampton, located near Penn Road. Our services include care for nursing home residents, palliative care, respite care, and dementia care. We are seeking a Registered Home Manager to oversee the daily operations of our care home, ensuring the highest standards of person-centred care, compliance, leadership, and service delivery.
About the Role
As Registered Home Manager, you will be responsible for the effective leadership, management, and development of the Home, ensuring all residents receive outstanding care tailored to their individual needs. You will work closely with Senior Management, external professionals, families, and the CQC to maintain excellence across all areas of the service.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and managing the day-to-day operations of the Home
- Ensuring compliance with CQC regulations and safeguarding standards
- Managing staffing rotas, recruitment, supervision, and appraisals
- Promoting a positive, supportive, and high-performing team culture
- Developing and maintaining person-centred care plans
- Managing budgets, resources, audits, and operational systems
- Building strong relationships with residents, families, and external agencies
- Supporting staff development, training, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Maintaining high standards of health & safety, cleanliness, and resident wellbeing
About You
We are looking for a motivated and experienced leader who is passionate about delivering high-quality care. Essential experience and qualities include:
- Minimum 2 years in a Home Management role within a residential or nursing care setting
- At least 8 years’ experience within the social care sector
- Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
- Excellent knowledge of CQC standards and safeguarding procedures
- Experience managing teams, rotas, compliance, and care planning
- Strong IT and administrative skills with confidence using Microsoft Office systems, including Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint
- Experience using digital care systems such as PCS, QCS, MED e-care, Cool Care, Your Hippo and DepenSys
- Level 5 Leader in Adult Care
- Full driving licence and access to a vehicle preferred
