As part of this exciting opportunity, they are looking to recruit full-time or part-time employees to work in their care home.
About Weston Park Care Home: Weston Park is a residential and nursing home located on the outskirts of Macclesfield Town situated in a quiet residential area. The home is accessible via a main bus route and easily reachable from the Leek and Congleton Roads. Weston Park provides a variety of care for 103 residents over three units: Mulberry unit provides nursing with dementia care, Weaver unit provides general nursing care, and Waterside unit provides intermediate care. The home requires Domestic and Laundry Assistants to join the qualified and well-trained team.
Responsibilities of a Domestic Assistant:
- Helps to maintain a safe, healthy, and pleasant environment.
- Ensures the linen and residents' clothes are kept clean and in a good state of repair at all times.
- Ensures that residents' clothes are labelled with the correct ID.
- Maintains linen stores in a clean and organised manner.
- Carries out cleaning duties in accordance with the home's requirements.
- Reports any defects, faults, or maintenance requirements to cleaning equipment or furnishings.
- Uses and stores cleaning products in accordance with COSHH regulations.
- Ensures adequate cleaning supplies are available at all times.
- Helps to maintain a safe, healthy, and pleasant environment for colleagues and service users.
- Ensures the facility and all furnishings are clean and tidy at all times.
- Ensures that all cleaning equipment is used and stored safely.
