Australia’s decision makers start their day with Capital Brief’s morning newsletters. This position assists the overnight editor with coverage of global markets, business and geopolitics, and plays a key role in producing our morning newsletters. It is an initial six-month parental leave cover, working remotely during the UK/European day.
It would suit an experienced business or political journalist with solid news judgement, excellent copy skills and the ability to produce sharp journalism quickly under tight deadlines. A strong understanding of Australian business is an advantage. We will also consider less experienced journalists with a hunger to report and an eagerness to learn.
