We are partnering with a high growth, private equity backed business to recruit a Financial Accountant to join their expanding finance team.
Location: East Sussex (3 days office / 2 days remote)
Salary: Up to £70,000

This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast paced, multi site organisation at a key stage of its growth journey. You’ll play a central role in ensuring robust financial control, statutory compliance, and high quality external reporting within a PE backed environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Preparation of statutory accounts for multiple entities in line with UK GAAP
- Leading the year-end audit process, acting as the main point of contact for external auditors
- Responsibility for corporation tax compliance, including computations and liaison with tax advisors
- Supporting group consolidation processes, including intercompany eliminations and reconciliations
- Oversight of balance sheet integrity, including reconciliations and technical accounting reviews
- Ensuring compliance with financial controls, accounting policies, and reporting standards
- Supporting finance transformation initiatives and process improvements
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
- Strong technical accounting knowledge with experience in statutory reporting and audit
- High attention to detail with the ability to manage deadlines in a complex environment
- Proactive, hands-on, and comfortable working in a changing, PE backed business
