Capital Air Services, based at Oxford Airport, is recruiting for an Operations Officer to join our operations team managing our fleet of corporate helicopters. This role requires attention to detail, good verbal and written communication skills and the confidence to assess situations and make decisions.

Job Description

The Main Role Includes But Is Not Restricted To:

  • Calculate charter quotation requests maintaining a high level of professional customer service.
  • Monitor aircraft availability and coordinate with helicopter owners accordingly.
  • Work closely with scheduling, crew, maintenance teams, and ground services, to coordinate all aspects of a flight.
  • Updating customers with flight movements whilst flight following the helicopters to ensure safe arrival at each location on time and manage any delays.
  • Work well as an individual and as a member of a team in what is often a demanding and challenging environment.
  • Ability to multi task is essential as is a willingness to work early & late shifts, weekends, and overtime as required.

The role is based at Oxford Airport, not WFH and the company operates an out of hours on call system 7 days a week.

Education & Experience

Experience working in an aviation environment is essential.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, & Outlook).
  • Applicants require the Right to Remain and work in the United Kingdom.
  • A satisfactory DBS check is mandatory for this role.
  • Current Full UK Driving Licence required.

Starting Salary commensurate with experience.
