Training Delivery Instructor - Electrical

Electrical Engineering Specialist Full-time role, 37.5 hours a week on a term time only basis HMS Sultan, Portsmouth Due to the nature of this role, you must be eligible for UK Security Clearance at SC level. Working as an Instructor in a team that delivers training across Marine Engineering Electrical Training group you will use using your skills as coach and / or mentor to deliver successful Electrical Engineering training to the Royal Navy. No previous teaching experience required!**Job title:**Training Delivery Instructor – Electrical**Job Description:****What you’ll be doing*** Delivering training modules within Electrical Marine Engineering to the Royal Navy* Conducting both theory and practical training in Electrical Engineering* Ensuring outstanding relationships with the customer and within Marine Engineering Electrical training area.* Assisting in maintaining and updating training documentation and assess student course work to provide feedback on performance.* Utilising best practice across the establishment to inform and direct quality and improvement activities across RN training.* Responsible for the duty of care and progression of training during delivery phase.**What we’re looking for****Essential Skills/Experience/Qualifications*** Minimum Level 3 Technical Certificate in Electrical or Electronic Engineering or equivalent* Proven experience within Electrical/Engineering* Be proficient in the use of IT (hardware/software) within the workplace* Competent Electrical practical/hand skills**Desirable Skills/Experience/Qualifications*** Previous instructional experience in a military or civilian engineering environment* Level 4 Teaching Qualification / DTC Defence Trainer Course or equivalent.**About Selborne**Selborne is a bold, £1 billion, 12-year transformation of Royal Navy training, led by Capita and a powerhouse consortium known as Team Fisher — including Raytheon UK, Fujitsu, and the University of Lincoln.
