You’ll play a key role in improving learner outcomes and career progression, while helping to shape and evolve a growing delivery model. Your role as an administrator will be to support the Apprenticeship Team at HMS Raleigh.
Earn while you learn. Full-time role, 37.5 hours a week on a term-time only basis (44 weeks a year). Permanent opportunity. Due to the nature of this role, you must be eligible for UK Security Clearance (SC level). You’ll complete your Level 3 Business Administration qualification over 13 months and will be equipped with real on-the-job learning and experience, finding out how our business works to grow your professional knowledge, all while earning a great salary and working towards a recognised professional qualification. After a full induction and initial training programme, you will join our team full-time, with time set aside so you can continue working towards your professional qualification. Once you have completed this, you will put all of your knowledge to fantastic use and decide what’s next for your career!
What Will You Be Doing?
- Supporting the smooth running of apprentice administration, managing records and learner data, processing new starters and leavers, and maintaining accurate systems and SharePoint updates.
- Assisting with accreditations.
- Supporting exam delivery as an invigilator.
- Working closely with internal teams, facilitators and external partners.
- Continuously improving how you work, adapting to change, and taking ownership of your learning, while maintaining high standards of compliance, including health, safety and environmental procedures.
What’s In It For You?
- Salary: up to £25,155 per year pro rata.
- Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday–Friday.

- This role is offered on a term-time basis working 44 weeks per year, with non-working weeks taken 2 weeks at Christmas and Easter and 4 weeks in August. The salary will therefore be pro-rata and calculated to include contractual annual leave entitlement and bank holidays.

Eligibility Criteria
- You are 18 or over at the start of the apprenticeship.
- You are not in full-time education when the apprenticeship begins.
- You do not already hold a qualification in a related subject at the same level or above.
- You can provide proof of residence in England for the duration of the apprenticeship.
