Location: Torpoint, United Kingdom

Employment: Full‑time, 37.5 hours a week, permanent contract

Security Clearance: Eligible for UK Security Clearance at SC level.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as a line handler / winch operator on the replica ships (Deckhand).
  • Serve as a safety number during training.
  • Carry out maintenance tasks on training equipment and record implementation of equipment maintenance to meet performance standards.
  • Ensure maintenance of all training equipment meets agreed performance standards and maintain documentation.
  • Ensure company Health, Safety and Environmental procedures are implemented and complied with at all times.
  • Support realistic training in at‑sea replenishment, ensuring crews are prepared, capable, and mission‑ready.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Previous experience of deck operations within a marine environment.
  • Experience handling ropes and winches.
  • Knowledge of using Maintenance Management Systems.
  • Demonstrable proficiency in using IT (hardware/software).
