  • Track broader developments in pensions administration, consulting and legislation, identifying risks, opportunities, and emerging themes.
  • Support the Director of Pensions Policy & Industry Engagement in developing policy positions across CPSL.
  • Draft CPSL responses to consultations, calls for evidence and joint industry initiatives.
  • Provide commentary, analysis, and research to support CPSL’s industry engagement strategy.
  • Working with the technical team to provide guidance to colleagues (consultants, administrators, client managers) on complex pensions.
  • Coordinate on cross functional technical matters relating to administration.
  • Prepare and deliver monthly update sessions for teams.
  • Produce high quality written insight such as Spotlights, Briefing Notes and technical bulletins.
  • Ensure insights are accessible, relevant, and aligned to CPSL’s messaging.
  • Support CPSL’s involvement with external industry.
  • Attend meetings with external parties (e.g. regulators, industry bodies) representing CPSL’s policy position.
  • Support in writing material for events and other external/internal activity.

  • Strong analytical and research capability with attention to accuracy and regulatory detail.
  • Ability to plan, prioritise and manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.

Desirable:
