Capita Technology & Software Solutions are looking for a Shift Engineer to join their growing team. This is a great opportunity to work within a large onshore & offshore team.
You’ll be working on a rota which will include days & nights with plenty of rest in-between as well as shift allowance included.
You’ll be the point of contact when it comes to Windows operating system issues, as well as dealing with Cloud (Azure) and Virtualization (VMWare).
Required for 24x7x365 Support of Onshore Managed IT infrastructure - This is a shift-based role & it is mandatory for the candidates to meet SC eligibility.
- Experience with Windows in a 1st and 2nd line role support capacity
- Ideally, experience with Azure and Unix
- Basic understanding of IP network, IP address, network devices and their role
- Desired ITIL Foundation Certified, MCP/MCITP/MCSE
- Eligibility for Security Clearance
- Experience providing telephone and online customer support
- Understanding of Windows
