Capita Technology & Software Solutions are looking for a Windows Support Analyst to join their growing team. This is a great opportunity to work within a large onshore & offshore team. You’ll be working on a rota which will include days & nights with plenty of rest in-between as well as shift allowance included. This role is home based but will require travel to the office in Newtonabbey, Belfast.
Mainly, you’ll be the point of contact when it comes to windows issues, as well as dealing with Cloud (Azure) and Virtualization (VMWare). Full training will be given.
What you will be doing:
- Required for Support of Onshore Managed IT infrastructure - This is a shift based role working a rota of days and nights.
- Providing support for servers running Windows 2008/2012/2016/2019.
- Carrying out regular Operation system changes.
- Providing 1st line support for applications (web portals, IIS).
- Reacting to client logged incidents and requests through Remedy.
- Customer support experience with a basic IT Technical understanding.
- Create Templates / Clones, create / delete Snapshots.
- 3rd party vendor coordination for visit and troubleshooting.
- Assist team with daily Backup failures, System Recovery with Backups.
- Review Application logs.
- Exchange 2003/2010/2013/Office365 Management and troubleshooting, Knowledge on Archival Solutions.
