Description :What you’ll be doing:Lead a solution workstream for bids, producing high-quality solution artefacts that are innovative, underpinned by best practice, operationally viable, cost-optimised, and designed to impress the customer.Conduct research and analysis of stakeholders, competitors, markets, demographics, locations, people, processes, and technology to inform senior-level discussions, create tailored solutions, influence decision-making, and differentiate Capita’s offering.Identify the solution components needed to meet customer needs, evaluating options and selecting the most appropriate approach based on evidence, research, and analysis.Deconstruct, scope, and articulate solution design work packages to be delivered individually or delegated to team members through iterative development, while monitoring and managing third-party contributions as needed.Influence and challenge internal and external stakeholders, including third parties, to ensure the solution is innovative, viable, and appropriately costed in line with the win price.Manage and mitigate risks, assumptions, issues, dependencies, and opportunities (RADIO).Collaborate with the Bid Manager and Sales Lead to ensure solutions are costed, assured, agreed, and signed off through appropriate bid, operational, and commercial governance processes.What we’re looking for:Essential skills and experiencePrevious experience in a pre-sales roleA strong understanding of public sector markets (central/local government, NHS, education sector etc…)Proven experience across the whole solution lifecycleLeadership skills and experienceDesirable skills and experienceA project or programme management qualificationAbout Capita Capita is an outsourcer, helping clients across the public and private sectors run complex business processes more efficiently, creating better consumer experiences.
