Join to apply for the Simulator Operator role at Capita. This is a part-time role, 28 hours a week, Monday to Thursday. Due to the nature of this role, you must be eligible for UK Security Clearance at SC level.

Turn Your Passion for Gaming into Real-World Impact – simulate missions, support the front line and help get better trained personnel to the front line faster.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a pseudo-pilot, operating complex simulator games in line with the Royal Navy training curriculum.
  • Support the maintenance and upkeep of the simulator and related training equipment and aids.
  • Ensure all training equipment is correctly prepared for use and stored after use.
  • Collect and disseminate data from each simulator session.

Essential Skills / Experience / Qualifications

  • Demonstrable proficiency in using IT (hardware/software); this role would suit a keen gamer.

Desirable Skills / Experience / Qualifications

  • Experience within the Maritime Aviation Sector (military or civilian) would be an advantage.
  • Experience of aircraft or fighter control within the MOD environment would be desirable.
