Overview

Protecting our military operations nationwide, you will contribute to the protection of people, assets, and maintaining military output while ensuring the communities we operate in remain safe. You will have direct management of the Fire Station and Fire Safety personnel, monitor, manage and report on operational service and personnel performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and supervise the delivery of the CFR Operations Response, Prevent and Protect service delivery plan.
  • Manage Fire Safety/Response resources and assets.
  • Deliver operational outputs to meet CFR Operational Standards.
  • Undertake quality assurance and compliance checks.
  • Monitor, manage and report on operational service and personnel performance.
  • Identify and develop continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Directly manage nominated Fire Station/Fire Safety personnel and outputs.
  • Ensure the working environment is healthy, safe and productive.
  • Identify, justify and control the allocation of resources for fire station and fire safety activities.
  • Ensure service delivery activities meet service requirement standards and achieve objectives.
  • Debrief operational incidents and training activities, providing feedback to support service improvement, performance and compliance.
  • Obtain, analyse and share information and client feedback with the Station Manager to make effective decisions and support continuous improvement.
