We're currently recruiting for a Senior MI Analyst to assist in the provision of services within the PCSE contract. The Senior MI Analyst is responsible for understanding and maintaining a reporting solution to meet the needs of the Capita PCSE contract. This individual has an in-depth understanding of BI tools, SQL, SSRS, SSIS, with the ability to translate complex requirements into high performing solutions for internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Build, maintain and publish appropriate and to-the-point dashboards which:
- Provide clear insight into the department’s performance against its goals
- Provide additional insight to show how performance could be improved
- Are easy to use – from both a technical and non-technical perspective
- Are regularly reviewed with the stakeholders to ensure that they are used and useful
- Ensure that reporting processes are documented
- Collation of Inputs from multiple teams across all areas of the business
- Review processes for obtaining data and review to ensure that this is as robust and efficient as possible
- Manage both internal and external resources, timelines, and milestones across a vertical set of industries.
About You
- Understanding of SQL, SSRS and SSIS - Essential
- Previous experience with Data Warehousing solutions
- Ability to reverse engineer reports and solutions
- Knowledge in Power BI - Desirable
- Competent in requirements elicitation principles and techniques
About PCSE
Primary Care Support England (PCSE) is delivered by Capita on behalf of NHS England and NHS Improvement (NHSEI), to deliver digital, logistical and support services to every GP, Dentist, Optician and Pharmacist providing NHS services in England. Our focus is on improving these services by standardising all processes nationally, to make each service more efficient. To date we have already transformed a number of services for Primary Care Support, including ordering medical supplies, tracking medical records, maintaining the Performers Lists for England and processing Ophthalmic GOS payments. These services are now all hosted on PCSE’s online platform, PCSE Online.
