What you'll be doing :

- Responding to sales opportunities (tenders) that can be delivered by our property teams, including property design, surveying, project, and cost management.
- Proactively nurturing existing property accounts within our public sector client base, especially in education, to generate additional opportunities across various service lines.
- Working as part of a multidisciplinary Place growth team to cross-sell estate transformation services alongside building safety, net zero, and planning services.
- Generating sales opportunities for property services across the public sector, with a focus on the education sector initially.
- Self-generating leads and opening opportunities across target sectors, supported by marketing activities.
- Creating sales forecasts and plans to achieve targets, including identifying new markets, clients, and partnerships.
- Building relationships with new and existing clients, understanding their needs, and developing proposals.
- Attending conferences and industry events to build relationships and stay updated on trends.

What we're looking for :

- \\n
- A strong property background with experience in property design.
- Experience in business development within a property setting, especially in education.
- Experience in sales, account management, and marketing.
- Credibility with senior decision-makers and a strong network to build a pipeline.
- Ability to work collaboratively, be adaptable, and manage workload independently.
- Commercially and financially astute.
- Willingness to travel and stay overnight as required for a national role.
