We are on the lookout for the next generation of Firefighters who will not only defend people and assets but also ensure the strength and readiness of our military operations. For this role, you will be required to attend training Monday‑Friday at the Fire Service College in Moreton in Marsh, for 14 weeks. All training costs will be covered, including accommodation and travel expenses. We can also consider eligible candidates for an Operational Firefighter Level 3 Apprenticeship – a paid, earn‑while‑you‑learn route into a rewarding fire and rescue career.

What you’ll be doing:
- Delivering focused prevention and protection activities.
- Supporting with targeted fire safety campaigns, you will enhance public awareness of fire risks and emergency procedures.
- Be part of a skilled and professional emergency response team.
- Responding to a range of incidents in order to reduce the impacts of an incident and restore normality as quickly as possible.
What we’re looking for:
- Have a good standard of physical fitness, which will be tested during the recruitment phase (Bleep Test – minimum of level 8.8 required, ladder and confined space drills as a minimum).
- To demonstrate good teamwork.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and in challenging scenarios.
- Have the right to work in the UK.
- Be able to obtain Security Clearance.
- Be prepared to undertake and pass academic assessments (English and/or Maths) and Situational and Behavioural tests during the recruitment phase, if required.
