We’re building a talent pool of registered healthcare professionals to support future opportunities within our Clinical Scrutiny team, helping assess candidates applying to join the British Army. This is a non patient facing role, ideal if you enjoy clinical decision making, structured work, and independent working, while making a meaningful impact behind the scenes.
About the role:
- Full time, permanent opportunities (37.5 hours per week)
- Home based - with some travel for meetings or CPD events
- Working within a supportive, experienced clinical team

What you’ll be doing:
- Reviewing candidates’ medical records and health declarations
- Making clear, evidence‐based clinical decisions aligned to military standards
- Accurately completing assessments and documentation on our systems
- Managing a structured caseload and working to daily and weekly targets
- Consistently applying professional judgement within agreed guidelines
What we’re looking for:
- You’ll be comfortable working in a target‐driven environment, typically managing around 8 cases per day, and will bring strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy to your work.
- Current UK professional registration (NMC, HCPC or equivalent) with no restrictions on practice
- Post‐registration experience as a Nurse, Paramedic or Physiotherapist
- Confidence in making sound, consistent clinical decisions
- Good IT skills and the ability to work independently whilst part of a wider team
