- Location: RNAS Yeovilton, Yeovil, United Kingdom
- Type: Part‑time, 30 hours per week
- Security Clearance: Eligible for UK Security Clearance at SC level
- Contract: Permanent
Responsibilities
- Deliver IGCSE maths tuition and Functional Skills / Education for Promotion maths tuition.
- Provide maths tuition up to Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF) Level 3.
- Conduct initial and diagnostic assessments and develop individual learning plans.
- Invigilate examinations.
- Participate in teaching observations, inspections, and visits from professional and awarding bodies.
- All teaching occurs during working hours; no late or out‑of‑hours work is required.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Experience teaching or tutoring GCSE maths.
- Level 3 or higher qualification in maths.
- Willingness to pursue further qualifications.
- Good IT skills, proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
Desirable Skills & Experience
- Level 3 or higher teaching qualification or willingness to obtain one with support.
- Experience with remote tutoring or supporting learners remotely.
