We’re looking for a dedicated Physical Training Instructor/Assessor to play a pivotal role in guiding candidates through a structured and supportive assessment journey. In this hands‑on role, you’ll create a calm, fair, and welcoming environment where candidates can perform at their best. You’ll lead both physical and psychometric assessments with professionalism and accuracy, applying detailed marking criteria to ensure every candidate is evaluated fairly and consistently.
Working 37.5 hours per week onsite, including one overnight chaperone and one on‑call duty per week. Required to work one weekend per month (Saturday and Sunday).
Responsibilities- Briefing, delivering and scoring assessments under test conditions
- Supporting candidates with clear guidance and encouragement
- Coaching physical activities safely and effectively
- Promoting wellbeing through advice on fitness, nutrition and lifestyle
- Maintaining your professional development and helping train new team members
- CVQ Level 2 Physical Training qualification (with support to maintain CPD)
- Confident instructor and skilled coach
- Strong commitment to delivering excellent candidate experience
- Full UK Drivers Licence
