Help get better trained personnel to the front line faster. You’ll be a key part of our Learning and Development Hub – keeping everything running smoothly while providing a friendly, welcoming first point of contact. From managing enquiries and signposting support, to handling essential admin, you’ll play an important role in helping Service Personnel access the training, qualifications and support they need to grow and succeed in their careers.
This is a part-time role working 24 hours a week Monday to Thursday.
Due to the nature of this role, you must be eligible for UK Security Clearance at SC level.
What you’ll be doing:
- Act as the first point of contact for the Hub, providing a welcoming service and directing queries to the right people or resources.
- Manage bookings and coordination for appointments, courses, events, and learning activities.
- Set up classrooms and learning spaces ready for training sessions.
- Maintain accurate learner records, reports, and systems (e.g. accounts, JPA updates, exam admin).
- Provide admin support for funding applications, learning credits, and learner needs (including SpLD support).
- Manage resources, materials, and general Hub admin tasks, including support for exams and events.
What we’re looking for:
Essential:
- Must be able to demonstrate experience of working in a team and being an excellent team member with great communication skills.
- High standards of accuracy and attention to detail and customer service skills.
- Previous administration experience.
- Must have a drivers license and vehicle to travel between local sites.
- Must be flexible to cover local offices, as and when required.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Desirable:
- Knowledge of the military.
- Experience of using JPA.
