Training Delivery Instructor – Mechanical Engineering

Full-time role, 37.5 hours a week on a term time only basis.
Location: HMS Sultan, Portsmouth.
Due to the nature of this role, you must be eligible for UK Security Clearance at SC level.

What you\’ll be doing
Delivering training to groups of trainees in Mechanical Engineering – both practical and theory based.
Build and maintain strong working relationships with trainees and colleagues.
Support course documentation updates and provide feedback on student assessments.
Apply best practices to improve training quality and effectiveness.
Monitor learner progress and ensure training meets performance targets and standards.
Collaborate with Learning & Development to personalise training and maintain professional development.
What we\’re looking for
Essential Skills/Experience/Qualifications
Minimum Level 3 Technical Certificate in Mechanical Engineering.
Proficient in the use of IT (hardware/software) within the workplace.
Competent mechanical hand skills.
Desirable Skills/Experience/Qualifications
Previous experience working in Marine Engineering.
Level 4 Teaching Qualification / DTC Defence Trainer Course or equivalent.
Previous training experience in an engineering environment.
