Plan and deliver a programme of high impact, cost effective events to support the marketing strategy and the business's objectives. Deliver excellence in the marketing function by providing specialist event services and advice in line with brand guidelines, team processes, internal policies, agreed standards, legislation and regulation. Create, manage and evaluate quality, compliant and creative events across all channels. An advocate of the importance of events in successful marketing, the Events Executive will work with colleagues to contribute to the growth and development of the organisation.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a central rolling programme of external events to meet cost, quality and time targets.
  • Build relationships with relevant external partners to create and optimise events opportunities.
  • Work with internal colleagues and external agencies where appropriate to deliver the events programme.
  • Attend workshops, exhibitions and promotional events where required.
  • Ensure all events support business objectives and that they are compliant with brand guidelines, internal policies, agreed standards, and regulation.
  • Manage a framework of events suppliers.
  • Work with the marketing team to maintain processes for events organisation including building and maintaining contact lists, logistics, promotion, delegate management and reporting.
  • Suggest SLAs, KPIs and metrics for events.
  • Keep up to date with events management best practice and advise how it can be applied to the business.
  • Provide advice on where external events can add value and challenge when necessary.
  • Organise the introduction of any agreed new tools and techniques.
  • Support the Head of Marketing for UK & Ireland as required with reporting on external events budget and activity.
  • Adhere to the company risk management policy and procedures, including reporting of incidents or breaches.

  • Experience coordinating events and associated processes.
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams and external partners.
