Key Accountabilities
- Client Engagement & Strategy
Build and develop client relationships, gaining an understanding of workforce demographics and communication needs under guidance from senior staff. Deliver education sessions and contribute to engagement approaches, supporting tailored pension education strategies. Apply good practice in pensions communication and behavioural insight, focusing on clear, accessible delivery while building confidence and capability in adapting engagement techniques.
- Content Development & Delivery
Design high‑quality educational materials for webinars, workshops and one‑to‑one sessions across various channels. Ensure all content is inclusive, easy to understand and fully compliant with regulatory requirements. Liaise with technical and compliance teams to maintain accuracy, update materials with current legislation and review annually. Proactively identify and escalateto the Manager any risks encountered during member delivery, ensuring timely resolution and mitigation. Maintain adherence to all regulatory and internal control standards throughout the content development and delivery process.
- Client Relationships
Develop and maintain effective working relationships with the CSPS delivery team. Keep regular contact with all clients in the portfolio and develop broad knowledge of services offered by the wider business. Focus on client satisfaction and business retention. Ensure all client meetings are conducted on time, with agendas, meeting notes, and action points followed up. Run clients in accordance with the Statement of Work and stay current with legislation, market trends, and best practice. Undertake other tasks or specific project work as required.
- Commercial Contribution & Opportunity Identification
Identify opportunities to enhance or expand services and escalatetothe Manager. Contribute to proposals, insight papers and sales conversations.
- Innovation and Continuous Improvement
Monitor trends in pensions engagement, digital learning and behavioural science to inform strategy. Evaluate the effectiveness of education initiatives and recommend improvements, identifying opportunities to enhance client value and generate new business.
Experience, Qualifications and Key Skills
- Essential
- Experience in managing client relationships and consultancy.
- Strong understanding of the Civil Service pension scheme or similar public sector schemes and the UK pension landscape.
- Good communication and presentation skills with the ability to simplify complex topics.
- Experience in building, leading and delivering through Microsoft Teams.
- Ability to apply flexible thinking, innovate, devise effective solutions and implement them to deadline.
- Desirable
- FPC, APMI, ACII or equivalent / CIPD or equivalent.
